Sanguinho or the Village lost as this pedestrian route is known, is without a doubt one of the most attractive tracks to be carried out by the locals or even by the tourist in love with nature.

   Located in the parish of Faial da Terra, we can admire the surrounding nature and observe several endemic plants and trees, such as incense, acacia, sanguinho that will point us to a cascade of fresh, pure and crystalline waters known as Salto of the Prego, where it invites us to take a refreshing bath inside this clearing.

   We will continue our walk to the old village of Sanguinho, whose name is due to the fact that in this area there is this endemic plant, already in the village, we will find old buildings, a small farm and an old cobblestone path, by the population of this village, to move to the parish of Faial da Terra, whose path gives us a magnificent view over it.

  At the end of our tour, time to refresh ourselves and get to know a little better this far and quiet village of S. Miguel with the name Faial da Terra.
